Simply delicious, nutritious and varied plant based menu is served with gluten free options, organic where possible and increasingly home grown as our gardens continue to expand and develop using modern permaculture ideas and ancient vedic principles to produce a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, herbs, spices, salads and healing plants.
Health Boosting Elixirs
Mornings begin with masala chai, organic coffee or garden teas of lemon grass, galangal and tulsi served on your verandah or by the fire place from 7.15am.
Breakfasts start with a daily Elixir using lots of super foods, each day has a specific health property. We use our own aloe vera from the garden. Some mornings we serve a mini smoothie . . . using nut milks, organic cacao, maca and vanilla.
An abundant spread of tropical fresh fruits, homemade muesli, buffalo yogurt and preserves, local honey and cob oven homemade sourdough breads alongside Indian breakfast specialties such as upma, poha, bahjis and dosas with chutneys. Mediterranean or middle eastern dishes, not forgetting local farm eggs to order from poached on wilted homegrown baby spinach or masala omelet and hot rotis.
Light Lunch is served at 2pm - Salads & Chats . . . Creative Salads with a choice of dressings and Indian Street food with a twist. And our much loved staff dhal of the day, served with brown rice, Dhahi, Chutney and fired popadoms.
Chia, garden teas, coffee served all day from 07:30 - 19:00 where ever you like all included.
Dinner gong signals 7pm inviting you to eat as much as you like from wholesome dhals, tasty curries, delicately cooked vegetables together with organic spices served with chutneys, rotis and raw salad bowls of fresh picked leaves and tasty raitas . . followed by scrumptious desserts including our all time favourites.
